Tobogganing in the Vinschgau Valley

Funny toboggan rides for the whole family

When you get butterflies in your belly and when the wind whistles around your ears, when it crunches beneath the runners and you lay on the curves, then your toboggan ride is in full swing. Powdery snow rises in the air and your laughter can be heard even in the valley. Here we don’t count the time, it is not about records, but it is about fun!

Pfatsch, the short natural toboggan run in Prad is open from Christmas to Carnival, depending on the weather conditions.

The natural toboggan run in the ski resort Watles is also very popular among guests and locals. Especially families appreciate this 4 km long toboggan run because the chairlift brings you comfortably up to the starting point. At the mountain station there is a toboggan rental, the return is effective at the valley station. It is also offered a romantic moonlight tobogganing here!

During winter, 5 km of the lower part of the Stilfserjoch road is used as a toboggan run too. The road is completely closed for traffic from October to May. Whereas in the summer the Stilfserjoch road is very popular among cabriolets, motorbikes, bicycles and tractors, in winter it becomes a special experience for tobogganists.

Three times a week, the 2 km long connection slope between Kanzel and the cable car in Sulden, is illuminated by night and authorized for tobogganing.
