The fishpond in Prad is a marvellous local recreation area in the heart of the Vinschgau Valley, adjacent to the Prader Sand. The large sunbathing area and the children’s playground offer relaxation for everyone.

The fishpond of Prad is reachable after a thirty-minute walking tour from our hotel, across the nature discovery trail and the Prader Sand. It is however also reachable by a short bike trip or by a few-minutes’ drive by car. There are enough parking spaces on-site.

In Prad am Stilfserjoch fishermen will have the best conditions for relaxing fishing experiences. The fish plant provides three ponds with a total of 47.000 sqm and allows fishing for guests, even without licence. The ponds are particularly interesting for trout and carp fishermen.

The fish ponds and the associated “Fischerstube” (little tavern) are every day open. You can purchase the day-ticket directly on-site and hire the fishing equipment, if necessary.

The “Fischerstube” offers a sunny terrace with a view to the fish pond. Here you will find a fine menu, ice cream in summer and chestnuts in autumn. On the children’s playground can play to their hearts’ content.
